3D modeling, rendering, and animation has become the popular replacement for traditional product photography. This is especially true during the prototype, research and development, ideation, and concept stages. This method produces photo-realistic images at a fraction of the cost and time, allows for immediate layer editing using natively embedded (“clown”) channels, and renders at unlimited size dimensions.
The images below were created using my favorite 3D packages – NewTek Lightwave, Luxion Keyshot, and Blender 3D. No post-production (aka, Photoshop) was used.
